that may be collected through software downloaded from

What
Information WinOffers Collects and how it is used:
In
order to receive any payment from the WinOffers service,
we require all users to register via our online
registration form in our 'Members' section. We require
you to provide us with your full and correct name, full
and correct street address, email address, gender, date
of birth and password. We will process this information
to manage your membership, determine your eligibility,
provide services, and allow you to take advantage of
other member benefits. In addition to the information
you provide to us in the online registration, we will
also collect certain information online and offline
arising out of your use of the WinOffers service,
including but not limited to the number and type of
offers you have responded to and completed.
We
work with other third party businesses and provide them
with the user’s personal information to bring selected
retail opportunities to our members via direct mail,
email and telemarketing. These businesses may include
providers of direct marketing services and applications,
including lookup and reference, data enhancement,
suppression and validation and email marketing. If you
do not wish to receive these offers see the opt-out
section below.
If a
user's personally identifiable information changes (such
as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a
user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to
correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally
identifiable information. This can usually be done at
the “Edit Account Information” page or by emailing our
Customer Support at
members@WinOffers.com .
Like
most standard Web site servers we use log files. This
includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type,
internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages,
platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to
analyze trends, administer the site, track user's
movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic
information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc, are
not linked to personally identifiable information.
Though
we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may
need to disclose personal information when required by
law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action
is necessary to comply with a current judicial
proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our
Web site.
Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral
service for informing a friend about our site, we ask
them for the friends name and email address. We will
automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting
them to visit the site. We store this information for
the purpose of sending this one-time email
and tracking the success of our
referral program.

WinOffers uses a feature of your Internet browser called a
"cookie" to assign a unique identification to your
computer. The Cookies we use are persistent files that
your Web browser places on your computer's hard drive.
Cookies can be used to help save and retrieve passwords
used on the WinOffers.com and to save information on past
activities and other preferences. That way, you don't
have to reenter information upon every visit to the
WinOffers service. WinOffers creates and then uses these cookie
